Strong Contemporary lines of the upholstered furniture are softened by the bold print of the side chairs. The eglomise mirrore and iron coctail table is definitely contemporary in design but is given a transitional feel by the distressed silver leaf under the glass. The Aubusson pillow provides a classical contrast to the contemporary painting. The sculptural wine table to the far right provides function as well as design interest.
